Greater Jacksonville APICS is a member of APICS Chapters nation wide that represents over 45,000 members. Our chapter provides education and networking opportunities to operations management professionals with peers in the community.

Local companies include Medtronic Xomed, Naval Aviation Depot, KAMAN Aerospace, Southeastern Metals, DTR Software, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Revlon, Vistakon, Load King, Kraft, Biomet and McKesson Medical-Surgical. We offer a full range of Educational offerings leading to certifications in Production and Inventory Management or Integrated Resource Management. We conduct approximately 6 Professional Development Meetings where we have a variety of subjects from world-renowned authors and local experts in resource management. We are a non-profit organization with no full time staff and all individuals involved are volunteers. Instructors are certified in their instructional area.




The APICS CSCP designation is the most widely recognized educational program designed for operations and supply chain management professionals around the world.  Demonstrate your mastery of supply chain management best practices by earning your APICS CSCP designation.  By earning the APICS CSCP designation, you will demonstrate significant commitment to your profession and your career, distinguish yourself as an industry expert, and excel with your newly acquired specialized knowledge.


Learn the concepts, strategies, processes, tools, and technologies applied to managing the end-to-end forward and backward flow of materials, information, and value in the supply chain. Be able to recognize and analyze specific supply chain situations and opportunities and select the appropriate approaches, tools, techniques, and technologies.  Be able to define and select the actions necessary to implement solutions.  Topics include:

  • Aligning supply chain processes and capabilities with strategic business goals
  • Understanding organizational roles and infrastructures in the supply chain
  • Managing material, information, and financial flows
  • Understanding and managing intra- and inter-organizational relationships
  • Selecting and leveraging technologies to enable effective process management

(You must apply and become eligible to take the exam via computer based testing (CBT) at Pearson VUE test centers) 

Class Information

Day of week:              Wednesdays’ beginning May 31st, 2017 (13 sessions)

Class Time:                 5:30pm – 8:00pm

Location:                    McKesson Medical Surgical – 4345 South Point Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32216

Cost:                           $1,200 members - $1,350 non-members (cost includes textbooks, instruction, and web enabled learning component) The cost of the class needs to be paid in full prior to the start date.
